Biography:

Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and raised in Princeton, New Jersey, Packard has lived in Provincetown since 1980. after graduating with an honors degree in sculpture from Mass College of Art. Cynthia suggests that her style is a classical sense of form and composition with a strong abstract influence and inspiration from the Modern Masters. A gifted colorist, she paints exceptional figures, children and still life's. She is best known for her figurative work of women. Recently her work has exploded reaching new levels. By applying tar, wax, shellac and plaster, she is creating a dramatic surface with the subject matter becoming more abstract.
