Statement:
I paint what I see as inanimate objects and exaggerate the flow and movement to represent the energy that has given life to the elements on our planet.
Biography:
Albert Harold Lewis was born in Waltham Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. He spent time in New Brunswick, Canada throughout his youth which heavily influenced an appreciation for nature. The artist studied painting, printmaking and art history at The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University and after receiving his Bachelors of Fine Arts stayed in Boston for eight years working at the MFA and exhibiting in the US and internationally. He currently lives in San Francisco, California and continues to imagine nature.
